Food preferences

Our gang eats a wide variety of foods. Not everyone likes smooth pate, but everyone eats shreds/bits. Dry Iams is a hit too, but we don't give more than 1/3 - 1/2 cup to each of them and always make sure they drink enough water. Baker is a big drinker, Ryzyk is good at staying hydrated too, but Masseeka once wolfed down slightly too much kibble and vomited. Nothing dramatic, it happens more often with pregnant kitties. We limit the amount of dry food she eats and encourage her to eat more moist food. She doesn't mind kitten pate (Royal Canin). After all, she is still a kitten herself, less than one year old, and tiny.

Churu and Greenies are treats, not meals. Churu is pretty liquid, so it works well for their hydration. They love it! Greenies - they may get 2-3 of those as candies.

As for the flavors - turns out anything with fish causes Ryzyk a day of sensitive stomach and mild diarrhea. So we stick to poultry, occasionally beef, but anything with fish flavor from variety packs goes to Baker and Masseka.
